Mother Hen

This project could only consist of the color white. This gave students the challenge to creatively think about how the garment could be more interesting through texture, pattern, or design.

Moving away from Texas to Georgia had taken a toll on me. I was feeling homesick and wanted to bring one of my fond memories to a physical form. Hence why my White Project is called Mother Hen.

Growing up, I lived on a small farm, and my grandmother had a bunch of chickens. We would often go out to feed them or collect the eggs that had been laid. This memory I always found dear to my heart, as it was a way to remember my childhood roots.
